Chiara joined the GER in March 2024 as a doctoral student. Before coming to Berlin, she earned her B.Sc. degree in pure Chemistry from La Sapienza University of Rome (Italy) and her M.Sc. in Photochemistry and molecular materials from Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna (Italy). She had a Master’s degree internship abroad at Technologiezentrum Energie (TZE) of Landshut Hochschule (Germany). She developed her Master’s thesis between the TZE research center and the University of Bologna supervised by Prof. Karl-Heinz Pettinger and Prof. Catia Arbizzani.  She worked as a HiWi in the STOFF2 company from Berlin for 9 months. She has experience in multiple branches of chemistry and electrochemistry such as flow batteries, photochemistry, lasers, and molecular materials.
