Fariza Kalyk
Fariza joined the GER lab in November 2025 as a postdoctoral researcher. She earned her B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Physics in Kazakhstan before completing her PhD in Materials Science in KTU, Lithuania. During her PhD she focused on ceria-based ceramics and thin films for SOFC and micro-SOFC applications. Her international research experience includes stays in Austria and Poland, as well as postdoctoral work in Germany. Before joining GER lab she focused on standardizing and automating ionic conductivity measurements for solid electrolytes in all-solid-state batteries as a postdoctoral researcher at Forschungszentrum Jülich (IMD-4) Helmholtz Institute Münster, Germany. Fariza's expertise includes materials synthesis, thin-film deposition, and advanced electrochemical and structural characterization.
